Maria C. Camara Tetreault

Maria “Stella” (Camara) Tetreault, 91, of New Bedford, died February 21 after a brief illness. Stella enjoyed going to the theater, reading, music and was always up for an adventure. She loved spending time with her family and friends and her great-grandchildren were a great joy to her.

Stella leaves a daughter, Jeanne Corliss, and her husband Michael; a son, David Tetreault, and his wife Deborah; two granddaughters, Melissa DeLorenzo and her husband, James, and Rebecca Beck and her husband, Brian; and six great-grandchildren Maeve, Josiah, Noah, Kessik, Ella and Lily.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Tetreault, and her son, Raymond Tetreault.

Calling hours are Thursday, February 25, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd in New Bedford.

The funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 26, at 10:00 A.M. at St. John Neumann Church, 157 Middleboro Rd, East Freetown. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery, 149 Dartmouth St, New Bedford.
