

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Lester and Mildred (Etchell) Wood she was a lifelong city resident and a communicant of the former St. Francis Assisi Church.
Ms. Trigueiro worked as an office manager for Bedford Village for 29 years until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the Rochester COA since 2010 for all the various events and to spend time with friends. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Marilyn also enjoyed playing BINGO and cribbage. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Trigueiro of Dartmouth, Peter Trigueiro and his wife Darlene of New Bedford, and Brian Trigueiro of New Bedford; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ronald Wood, Barbara Chase, and Irving Wood.
Arrangements are under the care of Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745.
