Born April 23, 1938 in New Bedford, to Manuel and Maria Medeiros. She married the love of her life Robert Brown on September 3,1960. Together the shared a beautiful life until Bob's passing in 1986. She pursued a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and nana. Mary found great joy in reading, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, David Brown (Nancy), Sandy Mastromarino, James Brown (Michael), and Heather Miranda (Louis), her grandchildren, Dawn, Nicole, Kristen, Alex, Rachel, Alyssa, Summer, Chase and Cody, and nine great-grandchildren, who will cherish her memory and carry on her legacy.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 10am-12pm in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a Graveside Service at 12:30pm in Pine Grove Cemetery. Followed by lunch.
