Mary Soares

Born in Easton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Chaves) Cunha she lived most of her life in New Bedford.

Mrs. Soares worked as a seamstress. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and watching crime movies. Her family would like to thank the staff at Alden Court for the care and compassion provided to Mary over the past few years.

She is survived by a son, Charles Soares and his wife Melody of New Bedford; a daughter, Diane Rodrigues and her husband Luis of New Bedford; four grandchildren, Paul, Melissa, Erin, and Derrick; a sister, Irene Jardin of New Bedford. She was predeceased by six siblings.
