Mary T. Verronneau

Mary T. Verronneau, 97, of Acushnet, passed away on August 15, 2026 at The Oaks. She was born on May 24, 1929, in St. Miguel, Azores, Portugal, and came to the United States as an infant. She was the daughter of the late Antone and Maria (Vieira) Cardoza.

Mary first lived in Fairhaven and later made her home in Acushnet after her marriage to Arthur.

For 50 years, Mary worked at Aerovox until her retirement.

Mary was preceded in death by her late husband, Arthur Verronneau. She is survived by her grandsons, Matthew Verronneau and Jeffrey Verronneau; her great grandson, Vincent Verroneau; her daughter-in-law, Debra Verronneau; and her son, Brian Verronneau. She also leaves her brothers and sister.

Mary loved being outdoors—watching the birds and basking in the sun. She also cherished family meals together.
