Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Milton A. Vieira, Sr. and Thereza (Souto) de Castro, he was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mr. Vieira proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He had worked for the City of New Bedford in the sanitation department.
Milton enjoyed music of all kinds and played the guitar. He was an avid billiards player and also enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his nephew, Michael Vieira and his wife Lori of Middleboro; and a great aunt, Dolores Vieira of New Bedford. He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce Vieira.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2-4 PM in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
