Miriam F. Brodeur

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Frederick Manchester Sr. and Eva (Lafrance) Manchester, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Mrs. Brodeur was employed as a Housekeeper for many years with the Sacred Heart Nursing Home in New Bedford. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, painting and latch hooks.

She is survived by her three children Daniel A. Carreiro and his wife Annette of New Bedford, Joyce E. Brodeur of New Bedford and Brian Brodeur or Oregon; two step sons: Philip Brodeur and Michael Brodeur and his wife Linda and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brodeur was also the mother of the late Antone R. Carreiro III and Gary Brodeur.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11AM in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 9 to 11AM prior to her service.
