Dear Joan & Denise, to you and to all of your family I extend my sympathy. I was saddened to see that Paul has died. I did offer Mass for him, even though I expect that we need the prayers more than him at this point. I suspect that there was a new Franciscan saint in heaven within minutes of his last breath! Paul was a great man and I feel fortunate to have been able to spend so many moments with him before Mass during my years at SJST. He will be remembered with great fondness!!!

I have many happy memories during my childhood sharing family times together. We were close. Uncle Paul was a true gentleman, and always had a kind word and a smile. My sincere condolences to my Aunt Joan and cousins Denise, Marian and Joe, along with all their families. Uncle Paul was loved and will be missed.

Mr, Carrier was my Catechism teacher years ago and I never have forgotten what a good man he was. He was devoted to his faith and he encouraged the same by his example. Later on his wife became my brother's piano teacher and we came to know the family better. Again . I was impressed with how really good character he and his family are. My parents who are now in their 90's have enjoyed their friendship with Paul and his family. We are all saddened by his passing on.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. He was such a kind and loving man. I remember him well from St. Theresa's when we were young. I remember how devoted he was to your mom and how comfortable he made people feel when he was around. He was definitely a gift from the Good Lord to all who were blessed to know him.

What a wonderful person he was. A role model for so many.... Had a great smile, a wonderful personality, a kindness to his soul and a voice like no other. I always said he should have been a radio announcer. :_) I am so grateful that I had the chance to meet him. He reminded me so much of my dad. I guess I could feel his pain, as my dad had the same illness. It was a difficult one. I offer my prayers and sympathies to Joan and Denise. I could always feel the beautiful love that you had for each other. God bless him and may he rest in peace.
