Paul R. Willett, age 61 of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019, in Cleveland Clinic, Weston, FL. He was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Costa) Willett.
He was born in New Bedford, attended New Bedford High School and he was employed for the over ten years as a Merchant Mariner until retired. Paul enjoyed family, traveling, cruising on his Harley Davidson, spending time by the water enjoying the warm Florida weather. Paul loved to socialize on his cell phone to keep in touch with his loved ones and many friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Jennifer L. Aguiar and her husband Gilbert of Acushnet and Robert W. Willett and his wife Donna of Milford, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Steven and Michael Willett.
Paul’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 6:00PM in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745. Relatives and friends are invited.
