We will miss our good friend and neighbor .I will not be able to run my dishwasher, that Peter installed or watch a Patriots game without thinking of Pete. He would come early every Sunday to get his favorite chair. That chair will always be yours Peter and our hearts are heavy that you will not be in it. You were one of a kind and will never be forgotten.

Pete was an angel sent to earth he helped everyone, Pete's path is littered with great deeds done for those less fortunate. I'm betting there's not one person who ever knew Pete he didn't do something wonderful for, whatever he had he shared with everyone and he worked hard, he worked all the time bettering peoples lives. I can't help but smile I was so fortunate to live across the street from him both in New Bedford & in Florida and I am accident prone had a few fires like setting my brand new gas grill on fire my first time using it wasn't my first fire either, as the smoke got to Pete & Mary's place they smelled smoke and here they come flying over on the funkiest golf cart you've ever seen Pete driving , Mary on the back with the fire extinguisher in hand. Here I am yelling fire of course I had 3 extinguishers but panicked. They put fire out Pete busting my butt we knew it was you (he had to rescue me from a lawn mower exploded into fire a few weeks earlier) Of course I never lived that one down, he went through life with love & laughter and mostly he saw the bigger pix and he lived a life of service to others and he did it behind the scenes not always getting credit. We lost a real Earth Angel god bless you Pete you will be carried in many hearts and will never be forgotten when people think of you, I know forever my heart will smile when I think of you. Love Sharon (firestarter)
