

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Ernest and Leah (Boyer) Charette, she had resided in Dartmouth for most of her life.
Mrs. Eskow was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and Kinyon Campbell Business School. She worked as a chef at the St. Mary’s Home for Children.
Phyllis had a love for life and children which she exemplified as a foster parent. She loved all animals but was especially fond of horses.
Survivors include her children, Cheryl Zeppenfeld of Mattapoisett, Jody Terpeny and her husband Mark, H. Cushing Eskow and his wife Sue, Keith Eskow and his wife Melody all of Dartmouth, Corine Tallant and her husband Danny of Colorado and Ronald LeBerge and his wife Beth of Pepperell; eighteen grandchildren; and extended family, Glenn Cormier and his wife Michelle of Dartmouth. She was the mother-in-law of the late Kevin Zeppenfeld.
Her funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, 763 Dartmouth St., Dartmouth. Visiting hours Tuesday 6-8pm in the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wareham Champs Shelter, 1057 Main St., W. Wareham, MA 02576.
