Raul attended New Bedford High School and worked as a laborer in the landscaping industry.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving or working on engines.
Survivors include his two daughters, Nayalie and Isabella of New Bedford, a brother Richard Carrasquillo Jr. of FL, two sisters, Emily Ortega and her husband Rafael of New Bedford, Jasmine Carrasquillo of New Bedford, his grandmother, Laura Martinez of New Bedford and his dear family friend Linda Pacheco of New Bedford.
His visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford from 5-9pm. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9am with a service at 10am at the funeral home. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery. For directions or tributes: www.rock-funeralhome.com.
