Raymond F. Leblanc

He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Howard) Leblanc, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage and a life filled with love, family, and countless memories.

Born in Acushnet, Raymond was the son of the late Frank and Dolores (Guillotte) Leblanc. He proudly served as a Merchant Marine and later owned and operated his own junkyard, Ray’s Sales & Services, which became one of his favorite places to spend his time. Raymond lived a simple life and was happiest at home, surrounded by the things he enjoyed and the people he loved.

Family was very important to Raymond. He was a good-hearted man who was always willing to help others when needed. He had a wonderful sense of humor, loved telling stories, and was known for being a jokester. Raymond was also a collector of just about everything and enjoyed going out to eat, where he would often buy little trinkets to give to children in the restaurants—a small gesture that reflected his generous spirit and love of making others smile.

In his younger years, Raymond enjoyed working on cars. Throughout his life, he maintained a passion for classic cars. He also loved boating and spending time in his beloved junkyard.

Raymond was a good man in every sense of the word—kind, generous, hardworking, and devoted to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gerard, Rene, and Hector Leblanc, and Claire Strobel.
