Born in Acushnet, a son of Raymond Eric and the late Pearl (Lemery) St. Onge, he was a lifelong area resident.
A graduate of New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 1970, he worked as a steam engineer for 30 years at the Acushnet Company and for 10 years at the Garment Express until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed riding his Harley.
He is survived by a daughter, Shannon Monteiro of New Bedford; a son, Kyle St. Onge and his wife Annie of Fairhaven; a brother, Ronald St. Onge and his wife Betty of Acushnet; two grandchildren, Austin Monteiro and Aubrey St. Onge and two nephews.
His Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 9AM to 11AM at the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford followed by a Celebration of Life at 11AM in the Funeral Home. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven. For tributes and online registration: www.rock-funeralhome.com
