Rita I. Kuczewski Pasieka

Rita I. (LeMay) Kuczewski Pasieka, age 96, of Westport, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 in Care One surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Pasieka and the late Isidore Kuczewski.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Drouin) LeMay.

Rita worked for Paragon Travel Bus Tours as a Tour Guide for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, knitting, puzzles, watching game shows and Lawrence Welk. Spending time with family was very important, especially with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving children, Chad Edward of Westport, Dee Kuczewski of New Bedford, Alan Kuczewski and his partner Eugene Costa of New Bedford, and Kim Lewin of Westport; five grandchildren, Todd Kuczewski and his wife Christine, Ashley Fullen and her husband Thomas, Lee Kuczewski and his wife Clèa, Ross Cardoza and his wife Sarah, and Wade Cardoza and his wife Shirley; twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and her very dear friend, Eileen St. Armant. She was the grandmother of the late Luke Edward and sister of the late Yvette Costa, Yvon LeMay, Gertrude LeMay, George “Shorty” LeMay, Gaston LeMay, Jean-Paul LeMay, Roger LeMay, and Raymond LeMay.

Her visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 9:00am – 12:00pm, followed by a 12:00pm funeral service in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745.
