Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sara (Blais) Cardoza, she was a resident of the city for many years.
Mrs. Oliver enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting “Love Blankets” for the Franciscan Children’s Hospital cancer ward for infants. She was active in the senior center choral groups, New Horizon and Key Notes Chorus.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Cabral of New Bedford, Lori Lopes and her husband Mac of New Bedford and Janice Esten and her husband Roger of CA; her brother, Vincent Cardoza of FL; 6 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Elaine Sylvia, grandmother of the late Scott Sylvia and sister of the late David, Randall, Louis, Joseph, Charles, Theresa and Isabella Cardoza and Alice O’Donnell.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Funeral Service, Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, 16 Temple Place, Fairhaven. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
