Robert "Bobby" Medeiros

Robert “Bobby” Medeiros, aged 53, of Wareham, Massachusetts, passed away on November 12, 2025. Robert was born on October 21, 1972, and raised in New Bedford by his mother, Hilda Medeiros, and his late father, Reinaldo S. Medeiros.

A handyman with a heart of gold who loved to help anyone in need, Robert worked as a construction laborer for multiple companies over several decades. He was a proud former member of Local 385 Labor Union in Fairhaven.

Robert was a true family man who expressed love with his entire being. He loved spending time with his partner of 10 years, Jessica Piva, and playing with his dog, Luna. Robert enjoyed being outdoors, walking, going to the beach and watching TV.

Robert is survived by his two children, Chantal Medeiros and Justin Medeiros of New Bedford, whom he loved with his entire heart; his sister, Kelly Correia; brother-in-law Thomas Correia; niece Kelsey Correia, and nephew Trehan Correia of New Bedford.

Robert's memory will always be marked by his love and generosity, as he would always share what he had with others. This generosity will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have been in his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be directed to Parents Supporting Parents in memory of Robert to support their Memorial Scholarship program, which awards admission funds to people seeking substance abuse treatment and support sober living.
