Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Roberto Medina-Reinosa and the late Monserate Peréz-Feliciano.
Roberto was a welder for many years among other things before retiring. A self-taught and very talented musician, he played many instruments but his love for percussion surpasses them all. He loved to sing and dance, with a beautiful smile that lit up a room. A true homemaker at heart, he was a wonderful cook and enjoyed keeping his house tidy and organized.
In addition to his father, survivors include: four loving daughters whom he referred to as his four flowers, Yajaira Casillas and her husband Manny of Malden, Waleska Medina and her life partner Roy Aviles of New Bedford, Katecha Carmona and her husband Basilio of New Bedford and Marianne Graziose and her husband Ross of Saugus; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Angel Luis Medina of Puerto Rico; the late Reynaldo Medina, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service and burial will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Rock Funeral Home, New Bedford.
