Roland Louis Chenette, age 94, passed away at St Luke’s Hospital Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was the husband of Leona Antoinette (Lapointe) Chenette. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Joseph and Blanche (Lepire) Chenette.

Mr. Chenette retired from Dawson’s Brewery where he worked as a warehouseman.

Survivors in addition to his wife are a niece JoAnn Burnett and her husband James of New Bedford, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a nephew. He was the father of late Lorraine M. Lantz, the brother of the late Leo Chenette and Medora Green.

His visitation will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 from 9-11am at the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, immediately followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 11am. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. For tributes/directions: www.rock-funeralhome.com
