Born in the city of Bani, Dominican Republic, survived by his parents Enerio E. and Maria Antonia Rodríguez Amador, he came to the United States 27 years ago and settled in New Bedford.
Freddy worked at Softub for the past 14 years. He had a passion for music and was an expert at installing auto sound systems. He enjoyed cooking and dancing. Freddy was always the life of the party and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Also survived by his wife, Lisa (Garcia) Rodriguez of New Bedford; his son, Alex Rodriguez, step-daughter, Samantha Stoudt of PA; two brothers, Giovanni Rodriguez of Boston and Santo P. “William” Rodriguez of New Bedford; two sisters, Joselin Rodriguez and Adaljisa Rodriguez both of Boston; his nieces and nephews, Alicia and Brittney Rodriguez; Alain Rodriguez, Vickiana Santiago, Calvin Amador, Andria Avalo; Aneudy, Yonaira and Jada Rodriguez; Sairy and Sunel Gonzalez.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 8:30-10:30 A.M. in the Rock Funeral Home, at 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, at 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford. Burial at Pine Grove Cemetery (for immediate family only).

Santo C. “Freddy” Rodríguez, 53, de New Bedford, MA falleció inesperadamente el lunes, 5 de abril de 2021 en su residencia.
Nacido en Bani, República Dominicana, hijo del Señor Enerio E. y Sra. María Antonia Rodríguez de Amador, emigró a los Estados Unidos hace 27 años y se estableció en New Bedford, MA.
Freddy había trabajado para la compañía Softub durante los últimos 14 años. Era un ferviente amante de la música y, a su vez, experto en la instalación de sistemas de sonido para automóviles. Disfrutaba cocinar y bailar. Freddy siempre fue la alegría de la fiesta y le fascinaba pasar tiempo con sus familiares y amigos.
También le sobreviven su esposa, Lisa (García) Rodríguez de New Bedford; su hijo, Alex Rodríguez, hijastra, Samantha Stoudt de PA; dos hermanos, Giovanni Rodríguez de Boston y Santo P. “William” Rodríguez de New Bedford; dos hermanas, Joselin Rodríguez y Adalgisa Rodríguez, ambas de Boston; sus sobrinas y sobrinos, Alicia y Brittney Rodríguez; Alain Rodríguez, Vickiana Santiago, Calvin Amador, Andria Avalo; Aneudy, Yonaira y Jada Rodríguez; Sairy y Sunel González.
