

Scott A. Langlois, a beloved resident of New Bedford, passed away on October 7, 2025, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident, at the age of 51. Born on July 18, 1974, Scott was known for his selfless, hard-working, and devoted nature. He was a kind-hearted, generous, and thoughtful man who was adventurous in spirit and cherished by many.
Scott was born in New Bedford and was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 1994. His career was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit as the owner of S&S Auto Repair, having previously owned a landscaping business.
Family was at the heart of Scott's life. He was the cherished son of Wilfred and Brenda (Langlois) Dupuis. For 26 years, he shared his life with his beloved partner, Kimberly Froias. Scott was a devoted father to his two loving daughters, Kaycee Langlois and Hannah Langlois, and her fiancé, Jonathan Serpa. He is also survived by his godmother, Melody Borden, and his godchild, Jordan Dupuis. His siblings, Cory Dupuis and his fiancée Jennifer Furtado, Austin Caputo, and Wilfred Dupuis Jr. and his wife Jackie, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loyal friends, will remember him fondly.
A man of many interests, Scott was a hard worker who would do anything for anyone. He was a dedicated family man, a selfless individual, and a loyal friend. Scott was an enthusiast of Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed driving his motorcycle everywhere. He enjoyed vacations in New Hampshire and attended Laconia Bike Week with his family every year. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for camping, fishing on his boat, and spending time on the water and beach. Scott was a meticulous landscaper, enjoyed four-wheeling on his quad in the woods, and built a Suzuki GSX-R750 sportbike. He also had a deep affection for his dog, Winnie.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 4-7 pm in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
