Martin Family,

Shane has impacted thousands of people. I was honored to work with him for 4 years at Ford Middle School. I remember his infectious smile and his love for his students. It was in his classroom where students would fall in love with math - and it was all due to his caring and loving personality. Shane truly depicted what it is to be the love of Christ while on earth. While it has been many years since I’ve seen or spoken to him - it is such a loss to humanity. Prayers to the family and co-workers and friends. Peace and blessings knowing he is indeed in the Father’s arms.

Shane was an amazing person. He was my son, Tyler’s teacher, and he positively impacted him to this day. Playfully calling him “stockbroker” or “Wall Street”. He even went to high high school senior night. Words can’t express my gratitude for Shane did everyday - kindness to his students, parents, and everyone he encountered. My thoughts and prayers are with his family

Angie, Hallie, and Christian,
I feel so blessed to have known Shane. He was light and salt in a dark world, and his love of Jesus shone through that winning smile. Shane's love for his family is what really impacted me, and that love was reflected right back at him by his wife and children.
I love you all and keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,

I had the privilege to know Shane in person. He was a beautiful smiling man. Even though I met him for a ishort time it felt to me that I knew him for many years. His faith in Jesus was inspiring. The last thing he told me touched me deeply. I thanked him for loving me and let me be a parte of his and his family life. He said : “it is so ease loving you.”.
Angela I won’t forget the day you invited me in to celebrate the Lord’s Holly Communion. I believe that Shane is where he wants to be. Even though I was hoping and expecting a miracle and I can’t understand now why he is gone. I am confident of the fact that we are going to see him again in haven and then we are going to understand what we can’t at this time. You , Hallie and Christian are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for strength for you his beloved parents and your whole family in this so difficult time. I love you sister. My deeply condolences. ❤️🌷

A truly amazing soul gone far too soon for sure. Shane touched lives too numerous to count in ways too numerous to measure. If you knew him, you were blessed beyond words. Our hearts are deeply saddened and broken but find comfort in knowing Shane is free from pain and suffering.

We pray that the Lord wraps His loving arms around his family at this difficult time. May the beautiful memories we all have of him lift us up and grace our faces with amazing smiles like Shane’s as we remember him fondly.

Hugs, love and prayers to all of you!
