I had many conversations with Steve at the 6th over the years and they were always enlightening. He had so much knowledge on a myriad of topics, especially local history, that I always walked away having learned something new. I miss those conversations. Since I am now living in Thailand I can not, unfortunately, be with you at this time so let me simply say that it was truly an honor knowing him.

I first met Steve at the 6th years ago and was enthralled at his ability to recall the history of people and places in New Bedford. I always enjoyed our conversations. When I moved to Plymouth I looked forward to coming home and stopping by the 6th so I could speak with him and catch up on what was going on. I was truly impressed with the man. He shall be missed.
