Theodore J. Przystas

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Theodore S. and Victoria (Ogrodnik) Przystas, he had resided in Pasadena for the past 43 years.

Dr. Przystas graduated from New Bedford High School in 1963 and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brown University and a PhD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

He was an accomplished Post-Doctoral Fellow and Researcher at the University of Southern California and retired from Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Ted was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast who loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by cousins, Judith Winn and her husband Dennis of Mattapoisett and their children, Patrick and Meredith Winn and Victoria Tan; and cousins Joseph Augustyn and his wife Michelle of Fairfax, VA and their children Catherine Matthews and Thomas Augustyn.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 10am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 235 No. Front St., New Bedford. Friends are invited to attend. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rt. 6, New Bedford.
