

Theresa F. (Charbonneau) Cybulski, age 89, of Somerset and formerly of Berkley, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at Clifton Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Cybulski, who fondly and jokingly referred to her as Butch.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Ovila and Albina (Papillon) Charbonneau, she was a life-long resident of the area.
Mrs. Cybulski took great pride in being a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a very good cook, best known for her special stuffing and delicious spaghetti. She loved to laugh, was an avid dancer and loved animals, especially cats. Theresa was known as the “Kissing Bug” at the nursing home, where she was always kissing everyone or would give them a friendly pat on the bum.
Survivors include: son, Robert Cybulski and his wife Jo of North Dighton; two daughters, Nancy Nowicki and her husband Steven of West Warwick, Rhode Island and Sandra Lapointe and her companion Brian Curry of Florida; five grandchildren, Barrett Cybulski, Brianne Weakley, Kevin Carlson, Karen Agostos and Brian Lapointe; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 9 AM from the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by her funeral mass at 10 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours, Monday 5-8 PM.
