

Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Clement and Antoinette (Letourneau) Gelinas she was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Quintin was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Parish.
Theresa was a stitcher in the garment industry. Even in her spare time, she enjoyed sewing. She was very active at the Church. Sundays she helped with coffee and donuts and in 1974 she was awarded the Marion Medal. Mrs. Quintin got together on Tuesdays with other parishioners to make aprons.
She is survived by her daughter, Claire Duff and her husband Raymond of Dartmouth, three grandchildren, Jeremy Duff and his wife Rana of Swansea, Benjamin Duff of RI, and Andrew Duff and his wife Alicia of New Bedford; four great grandchildren, Quinn, Matthew, Charlotte, and Grace Duff.
She was the mother of the late Jeannette Mello and she was predeceased by eight siblings.
Her funeral will be Friday, June 27, 2025 9 a.m. from the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1359 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford.
