The world’s strongest man in our eyes. The superman in real life. Made so many people laugh and smile. The biggest Patriots/Red Sox fan I have ever met. His loud tone and grumpy attitude. It wasn’t that he was angry, that’s just how he was and we all loved him so much anyway. He pushed and pushed to keep on going all these years. And for all the good memories we shed happy tears. The biggest teddy bear yet on the outside so fierce. Stubborn as a mule, his bark bigger than his bite. The man of steel, wasn’t going without a fight. Every outing, every sports game, every cookout, every party, every movie, every meal, it’s hard to let go or explain how this makes us feel. His heart was made of solid gold. Pure and full. A survivor is what this man was. He went through so much in one lifetime than many do. He’s gone but not forgotten. He no longer has to suffer, or hurt his pride asking others for help. He’s flying high in the sky now, he’s laughing and dancing and watching down smiling on all of us. So many people that loved him, so many people left behind…Survived by his children: Michelle, Jerry, Darleen, Cheryl, Bette, Grace, Sel, Burt and Tommy; also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren: Cynthia, Johnathan, Justin, Amber, Bobby, Dwayne, Curtis, Misty, Kenny, Brittany, Destiny Hope, Cora Lee, Gina, AJ, Tony, Rosita, Angela, Krystle, Ruben and many others. If anyone was missed, I apologize. He had so many wonderful people that loved him and considered him family. It’s hard to write down everybody. He is still with us, every single day to share our laughs, smiles, and even our tears, and we will see him again one day when our time comes in many many years. He’s still with us all, he would want us all to be strong and stand tall. Salute this soldier cause that’s what he was. He was a hero to us all and changed so many lives with his presence. But never forgotten… His Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 559 Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford.
