Vivian Tripp

A lifelong Acushnet resident, she was the daughter of the late James and Adrienne (Talbot) Budd.

Vivian was a graduate of New Bedford High School and worked as a cafeteria worker for the New Bedford School Department until her retirement.

Survivors in addition to her husband are her children, Catherine Larson and her husband Paul of Acushnet; Laurie Cardoza and her husband Manuel of Acushnet; James Tripp and his wife Sally of Freetown; 5 grandchildren, Megan Cardoza, Amanda Larson, Rebecca Larson, Mallory Tripp and Brittney Tripp. She is survived by 8 brothers and sisters. She was the sister of the late Donald Budd and sister of the late Marc Boucher.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:30am at St Francis Xavier Parish, 125 Main St, Acushnet. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Private visiting hours (for immediate family only) will be held Friday from 9-10am at the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford.
