Brandon K. Pond

He was born on July 3, 1995, in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Starr McDaniels and Joel Muench.

Brandon graduated from New Berlin High School, He went on to work as an electrician and most recently as a union iron worker. He also operated Bee Sting Land Management. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was most proud of becoming a Dad.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Starr McDaniels; and uncle, Dwayne McDaniels.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Starr McDaniels of Alexander, IL; father, Joel (Loretta) Muench; partner, Courtney Ulinski; sons, Tyson and Nolan Ulinski, and Lawson Pond; sister, Brittany Pond of Tucson, AZ; uncles, Lee (Carrie) McDaniels, Charlie (Bobbie Lynne) McDaniels, and Bryon Muench; aunt, Leeann McDaniels; and numerous cousins and extended family members.

Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Knights of Columbus, 715 E. Illinois St., New Berlin, followed by the Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Barth officiating.

A private family burial will take place at a later date at Woodwreath Cemetery.
