He was born on January 12, 1967, in Hillsboro, IL, the son of Bernard and Myrtle Viola (Copple) Johnsey. Clinton married Rhonda R. Cummings on October 22, 2003, in Hillsboro.
Clinton attended Beckemeyer Grade School and graduated with the Hillsboro High School class of 1985. He went on to earn his CDL at Lincoln Land Community College. Clinton had numerous jobs, but the longest and most-loved was with Armes Custom Wood Finishing. His passion was music and playing his guitars. Clinton also loved fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, and passing out his sea shells from the family’s memorable Florida trip. He was known as a witty and caring lover of music, who was a true outdoorsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Jack Cummings.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Rhonda Johnsey of New Berlin; son, Brad (Adrianna) Johnsey of Taylorville; sister, Susan (Kenny) Earnest; nephew, Jimmy (Jeana) Lang; and numerous cousins.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Private services were held.
