D. Jeannine Frank

She was born in Loami on January 25, 1929, the daughter of Theodore Anthony and Mary Gertrude (Wethington) Abell. Jeannine married Robert E. Frank on October 14, 1950.

Jeannine graduated from New Berlin High School in 1947. She was a dedicated housewife and took great care of her family. Jeannine was described to be dependable and a hard worker. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a past member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Jeannine also loved quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; brother, William T. Abell; and sister, Ann Louise Minder Meirhaeghe.

Jeannine is survived by her sons, Daniel C. (Deborah) Frank and R. Eugene Frank; grandchildren, Amanda Jones and Travis Frank; and one great-grandchild, Trace Jones.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial: Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 404 E. Birch St., New Berlin. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Seth Brown officiating.

Memorial contributions in memory of Jeannine may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Loami Food Pantry or donor’s choice.
