

He was born on May 20, 1931, in Brown County, IN, the son of Carl and Grace (Lemley) King. Rudolph married Eunice J. Clements in 1953, and she preceded him in death in 1991. Rudolph married Edith Tolliver on May 1, 1992, in Carlinville, IL.
Rudolph attended New Berlin High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, retiring after 21 years of service. Rudolph went on to work as a mailman for USPS for 20 years. He was a member of Berlin Christian Church. Rudolph loved mowing and other yard work, helped take care of Woodwreath Cemetery, enjoyed cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Illini basketball team, attended Pretzels sports games, loved his family, and kept in touch with everyone.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Keith and Garth King; and grandson, Michael Galati.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Edith King; daughter, Monica (Angelo) Galati of Granite City, IL; stepson, Larry Barker of Berlin, IL; granddaughter, Gina (Gerald) Bolen; great-grandchildren, Brendan and Samantha Abbott; and siblings, Gerald King and Winona “Joyce” King-Miller.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, prior to services.
Graveside Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Woodwreath Cemetery, with Rev. Warren Brosi officiating and military honors provided by the Army DOD.
