Aaron was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on January 17, 1986 to Thomas and Susan Curd.
He grew up in New Bern and attended New Bern High. His musical interests drew him into being an aspiring musician. He became one of the most talented bass players in the area and played in the popular local band Kill Mercy. They played and travelled in many venues and competitions throughout Eastern NC.
Aaron wrote many songs and the band made several CD's over the years that became hits on the internet and were played on some of the local radio stations. He was so proud of that accomplishment.
Aaron had a great love for living creatures. He loved his pet dogs, cats and geckos. His little sleeping buddy, " Mitch" was his favorite.
He had a kind, caring and forgiving soul that saw the best in people despite their outward appearance or their behavior. He always tried to help those less fortunate than him. Aaron's main passion was writing and playing music on his guitars. His second passion was fishing. He loved catching fish no matter what species or size. But, his favorite by far was large mouth bass fishing with topwater lures.
He is survived by his loving parents, Thomas and Susan Curd of New Bern, NC; his brothers, Garrett Curd of New Bern and Jordan Curd (Laura) of Durham, NC; his beautiful son Logan Mitchell Curd of New Bern, NC; his Aunt Suzi Zefting - Kuhn ( Gary ) of Pittsford, NY; his Aunt Barbara Jean Wilkus (Benjamin) of Holly Springs, NC; his Uncle Doug Ashworth (Deb) of Windham, NH and cousins David Ashworth (Erin) of Chelmsford, MA and Allison Ashworth of Manchester, NH; Brandt Wilkus of Holly Springs, NC; Lindsay Vera (Aaron) of Troy , NY and Brett Zefting (Julia) of Bellingham, WA; and nephews Silas, Asher and Jonah Curd of New Bern, NC and Jamie Curd of Durham, NC; and his girlfriend, Serena Garcia of MD that he loved and adored.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Leslie Howard Curd of Santa Barbara, CA; his grandmothers, Barbara Schutz of New Bern, NC and Margaret Ashworth of Methuen, MA; and his grandfathers, Leslie Curd ( Pop pop) of White, GA and Frank Ashworth of Londonderry, NH.
