His wife of 34 years, Janice Dawson survives him as well as his mother, Vida Maxine Dawson, daughters, Adrienne Payton and husband Eric, Kathryn M. Dohogn and husband Mark, brothers, Thomas Dawson and wife Jean, and Bert Dawson, sister, Bobbie Ewbank and husband Mark, grandchildren Aiden and Garrett Dohogn. He also leaves behind nieces, Kimberli Dawson and husband Elliot, Nicole Bublak, and nephew Todd Dawson.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday at 2 pm at Cotten Funeral Home with the Reverend Rex Bennett officiating. Visitation is to be held one hour prior to services.
