Allen Frederick Slaymaker

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday February 25,2026 at Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar WV at a later date.

He is survived by his loving wife, Leona “Jeanie” Slaymaker; his mother, Janice Dooley; his daughter, Jessica Daniels; his grandchildren, Cody and Allison Daniels; his sister, Maria “Alexis” Azria; and many nieces and nephews.

Allen was a kind and generous man who put others before himself. He worked for nearly 20 years as an electronics technician at Wheatstone Corporation. In his spare time, he enjoyed building and repairing amplifiers for local bands and musicians, sharing his talent and passion for sound with the community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
