

Dock was born in Farmville, NC He served in the Army and the Air Force. When he left the service he lived in California and own and operated Schaeser’s Discount Store and later moved to North Carolina where he owned and operated Baldree’s Grocery Store and later owned and operated A & R Mobile Home Movers.
He had a generous heart and compassion for those that were in need. He loved his goats, horses, lamas, cows and other animals. He especially loved to eat pork rinds. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby and his parents, Joe and Nancy Baldree, his four brothers, John Arnold Baldree, Horace Linwood Baldree, Norman Graham Baldree, and William “Bud” Baldree, and two sisters, Norma Grace Baldree and Doris Odham.
Surviving are his children, Alton Baldree and his wife Lena of Greenville, NC, Wayne Baldree and his wife, Sandra of Greenville, NC, Henry Allen Baldree and his wife Gayle of Vero, FL and Robert Baldree and his friend Crystal of Jasper, NC; six brothers, J. T. Baldree of Blackfoot ID, Larry Baldree of Winterville, NC, Bobby Baldree of Centerville, UT, Charles Baldree of Gilbert, AZ, Mark Baldree of Vanceboro, NC and Rex Baldree of New Bern, NC and four sisters, Dean Manning of Ayden, NC, Laurlie Jensen of Cove City, NC, Lou Anderson of Ayden, NC, and Ellen Forlines of Winterville, NC. He had 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Clarks United Methodist Church., 106 Clarks Road, New Bern, NC 28562. The family will receive friends following the service.
