

Andrew Joseph "Andy" Falcone, 62, of New Bern, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Andy proudly served his country in the United States Army and Navy. He was a master electrician, owning and operating his own company for many years until he became unable to work. Andy loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing his gift of singing with his church family. He will be remembered for his happy demeanor and love for people. Whenever asked how he was doing, his reply was always the same, "I'm blessed and highly favored."
He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Short Falcone; daughters, Aneva Marie Falcone and Andrea Josephine Falcone (Justin Stilley); stepson, Eric James Lassiter (Grace); mother, Aneva Rhodes Vetrano; sister, Debbie Montemaro (Jackie); brothers, Michael Falcone (Tammy Jo) and Mark Falcone (Stacy); stepmother, Patricia "Patty" Falcone; sister-in-law, Ellen Short Weaver; and grandchildren, Jordis Grace, Olivia Jade, Makayla Marie, Brice Anthony, Gage Christopher, Maci Lane, and London Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Falcone; stepfather, Robert "Bob" Vetrano; sister, Aneva Marie Falcone; as well as his wife's grandmother, Ellen Taylor Williams.
Due to the restrictions in place due to the coronavirus, the service will be private. However friends are invited to watch the service via livestream through the Cotten Funeral Home Facebook page at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th, 2020.
For those who wish to pay their respects to Andy and his family, you may do so on Saturday, April 18th between the hours of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home. Visitors will be limited to no more than ten persons at a time due to current social distancing guidelines.
