Honey, today two years ago you were laid to rest.  I miss you so much that I can hardly stand it.  You were my everything.  You were the love of my life, my best friend, my angel, the keeper of my soul.  I love you so much.  I go back and look at videos with you in them, they bring back so many good memories.   I have some bad news to share.  We had to put Maggie down today.  She had not eaten in two weeks and could not even get up to go to the bathroom.  She was so weak. Mama, it has been 2 years today that God called you home. It still hurts to this day knowing that I haven’t heard your voice. I have however saved the last voicemail that you left me on my birthday back in 2023. I play it often because it gives me some comfort knowing you are truly ok. I miss you terribly and love you forever. Continue to sleep in peace and watch over me. Until we see each other again. ❤️❤️

Ann, your obituary is missing some personal information and for this I apologize.  I guess your family was so much in shock at your passing that we could not think straight.  Not only were you a loving wife, mother, and grandmother but you had a working career with 25 plus years at Hatteras Yachts in New Bern.  You held various positions there from group leader to plant nurse to an Industrial Engineer.  Hatteras is where you met your husband, Harry Davis and you were married to him on October 5, 1981.  You were a member of North East Primitive Baptist Church in Jacksonville, NC for many years and served there as its clerk for several years.  Your favorite vacation spot was Anna Marie Island on the West Coast of Florida.   You always had to have some of Tyler's homemade ice cream located in Cortez, Florida when you were down there.  Lots of good memories on the Island.

Honey I loved you more than I could ever have imagined one person loving another.  You changed my life when you came into it.   Not only were you my companion you were my best friend.   You stood by me in ever endeavor I ever attempted.  You were a loving wife and a loving mother.  I know that  Jesus is finally glad to have you and that now you are not in any pain.   I will miss you so much but I am glad you are finally home.  I am so sorry that I did not hug you more.
