He is preceded in death by his mother Elaine Bennett Cherry.
He is survived by his father and step-mother Dallas and Connie Cherry; step-sister Jessie Lynn Coward; aunts Barbara C. Wade, Susan C. Porter and Connie Bennett Ward; uncles Danny Bennett and Tommy Bennett; grandmother Myrtle Ruth Cherry; cousins B.J. & Brooke Wade, Lauren & Andrew Porter, Christopher Lee and Karen Lee Brock, Dan Bennett, Mandy Bennett Miller, Shawn, Trey and Cody Bennett.
The family will receive friends Thursday December 8th from 6 to 8 pm at Latitude Church, 1732 Racetrack Road, New Bern, NC with service following at 8. The family will have a private graveside.
