She was an avid golfer, playing four times each week and bridge twice a week. Her interests include traveling and living abroad in Europe and taking and sharing photos. Her bright blue eyes and her warm caring smile will always be missed.
Barbara is survived by her husband George, two daughters, Rhonda Grampire and husband Keith of Colorado Springs, CO; Leslie Albrecht and husband Kurt of New Bern; one sister, Lorna Ludes and husband Matt of Pleasantville, NY; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held following the service at the Hatmaker home, 313 Carriage House Court, New Bern, NC.
