Ms. Betty Marcene Florez

Key Lime Pie, Stuffed Animals, and a walk around Union Point was the way to her heart. She was a lover of animals, always known to have several cats and dogs. She was a devout Christian who had an admirable ability to forgive those who deeply hurt her. Though her life was not considered easy, she maintained her faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Ann Willis; a brother, Robert Morris, Jr. and a granddaughter Brianna Garcia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Morris, Sr. and Teresa Morris, as well her brothers Carl, Paul, and Preston Morris.

A special thank you to those who made the last years of her life special, including those at her church, Antioch, and those at her nursing home, Pruit Health- Neuse.

Thanks to all who knew her and loved her. She loved you, too

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday July 4th 2026, at Antioch Church, located on 760 Antioch Rd New Bern, NC 28560 in the fellowship hall. No black, please dress casually.
