Brian Geoffrey Utz

Born in Buffalo, NY, on September 14, 1979, Brian grew up as a military child. As an adult, he felt the call of duty to serve his country in the US Navy. While in the Navy, Brian served aboard the USS John F. Kennedy CV-67 and traveled the world. After his time abroad, he continued to support the military in a civilian capacity as a boiler plant operator at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.

Brian settled with his wife and children in eastern North Carolina and found a love for the outdoors and hunting. He will be remembered for his hard work, generous ways, no non-sense persona, and his loyalty to and deep love for his family and friends. They will hold tight the memories of each day they had with him and look back on all the ways he touched the world.

Brian is survived by his best friend and wife, Jenifer Stallings Utz, daughter Darcy Welsh, daughter Addison Utz, mother Beverly Utz, sister Jamie Utz, and brother Kevin Utz and wife Ashley. He is preceded in death by his father Geoffrey Utz.
