
Sue will be remembered for her creative spirit and her deep love of nature, travel, and craftsmanship. She found joy in quilting, where each stitch reflected her care and patience. As a Master Gardener, she took pride in nurturing beauty from the earth, sharing her knowledge and passion with others. Sue also expressed her artistic talents through making jewelry and ceramics, leaving behind treasured pieces that will continue to be cherished by family and friends.
Sue had a love for travel that took her around the world, including Taipei, Taiwan; Okinawa, Japan; Cotonou, Dahomey; Croughton, England; Ankara, Turkey; Athens, Greece; Algiers, Algeria; Nairobi, Kenya; Clark Air Base, Philippines; and London, England. After retirement, she and her husband continued their adventures together traveling the US in their RV.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Blair; her son, Michael Blair (Marilee); her daughter, Melanie Mueller (John); her brothers, Ton Custer and Terry Custer (Margie); her sister, Kathy Himes; and her beloved grandchildren, Robert Mueller, Kelsie Mueller, Kevin Mueller, Ian Blair, Christopher Blair, and Kelly Rasmussen.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Custer (Bonnie).
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory.
