
While living in Ashland, Kentucky, Charlie was an active member of First Christian Church and the Ashland Elks Lodge BPO350, Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Shrine. Charles worked at Armco Steel for 40 years, then later moved to New Bern, NC. Charlie became a faithful member of Broad Street Christian Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Delaney Barber; daughters, Debbie Barber Hostetter (Michael), Tina Barber Bowman (Dave), and Darlene Barber Riley (Clarence); grandchildren, Ben Bowman, Nathan Bowman, Joshua Hostetter, Luke Hostetter, Annie Hostetter Horrigan, and Kim Ratliff Sansom; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Hudson, Jack, Nora, Jacob, and Hunter.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Grace Barber; and son, C.B. Barber, brother,Lou David Barber;sisters, Jo Barber Adams,Betty Barber Hemplepp and Bernice Barber Lutz.
No services will be held at this time.
