Mr. Laughinghouse was the owner of Circle L Mobile Home Park for 21 years. He was also a member of Bridgeton Free Will Baptist Church.
He is preceeded in death by his wife Mary W. Laughinghouse.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Maria Ipock and Sheila L. Jarman both of New Bern; his sister Irene L. Grant of Beaufort, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cotten Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
Arrangements are being handled by Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
