Bob.... I did not know you in life. But only through the love of your sister-in-law, Terri. Such love speaks of a wonderful soul who made his mark in this world and upon the hearts of those closest to him. I am sorry I did not get the chance to know you, but I know you will be missed terribly. I pray you have gone into the Light and await to reunite (in happiness) those who love you.

I spent many fun times on the golf course with Bob......We always had a good competition with John Cole and Bob Brookover.....many laughs as we tried to emerge victorious on our 18th hole double or nothing bet.......Great times also teaching Bob to be a pilot which he achieved. I never told him but he was the easiest student I ever had. Didn't get to see Bob and Robin much since their move to New Bern, but some people don't need a day to day interaction to maintain their friendship........Bob and Robin are great examples of that. So thankful for being able to have had our friendship and we will catch up with you down the road a bit........Our Lord has promised us that......God Bless.....+++

Unfortunately I never personally met Bob, but know of him thru Robin. From her accounts and photos I have seen I feel this was a missed opportunity for meeting someone who could have been a great friend and feel a loss for that. Prayers for Robin and family on your loss.

Many moons ago, my late wife and I first heard about her baby sister dating Bob. We didn’t know if or how it would turn out, but upon meeting Bob, it was apparent that these two really loved each other. Over the years I have never seen that love fade. Plus I had a chance to know what a decent and caring person he was. Even in his final weeks, he was more concerned about how his situation was affecting Robin and others, more than himself. Proving that, he was an amazing individual that will not be forgotten.
