Clem "Frankie" Franklin Wetherington

Clem "Frankie" Franklin Wetherington, 87, of Cove City, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 3, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 10, 1934 to the late Clem and Nannie Wetherington.

He proudly served in the United States Army. Frankie was a deacon and Sunday School teacher of Wintergreen Original FWB Church. When he was not serving at church, Frankie would minister to many in the Prison Ministry.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances Wetherington; son, Joey Wetherington (Terry) and Ronnie Hutton; grandchildren, Lindsey Connor (Alan) and Ryan Wetherington (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kaylin, Camden, and Cade; sister, Pearl Ange; and brother, Grover Wetherington.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce; and son, Brian Wetherington.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wintergreen Original Free Will Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be begin at 11:00 AM and the burial will follow at Wintergreen Cemetery.
