I trusted Christ as my Savior. Got it settled in a service under Pastor Dartt's preaching at Plattsburgh. I was in the USAF at the base. Pastor Dartt baptized me too. The memory of the just is blessed. I used Pastor Dartt in a Sunday School testimony about preaching today, these many years later.

I didn't think any body could replace Pastor Rainey, whom I had grown up with. It didn't take long, though, to come to call Pastor Dartt, MY Pastor, and come to love him and his family. Thank you for answering the call to come to a little church in Plattsburgh, NY, to be our Shepherd. My prayers are lifting up all of the family to know God's comfort and peace. Love you all.

My wife and I are grateful to his ministry in Plattsburgh. He performed our marriage 23 years ago. He was a wonderful example of a Christian.

Brother Dartt was familiar with the Marine Corps motto, "Semper Fi". He was "always faithful" as a Marine, Pastor, husband and father. As a Marine, he was my hero. As a Pastor, he was my friend. I will always remember our fellowship in my office and the Chinese restaurant. We discussed and solved a lot of the world's problems during those times. He will be missed and, unfortunately, men of his character are few and far between. May God bless you, Mrs Dartt. I have, and will miss my hero!

The photo posted here is just as I remember Pastor Dartt. He is certain to be rejoicing with His Savior today! He was the father to my dearest friend in all the world, so I hold him in respect and will be always grateful to him for that. God bless you all and keep you. You are very loved, Leah
