Clif proudly served his country, the United States of America, for 26 years and worked hard to earn his title as Sgt. Maj. Not only did he serve his country, Clif served his community well. During his free time, Clif enjoyed riding his motorcycles, gardening, and fishing. He was known by his son as "Mr. Fix-It". He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lillie Bowman; son, Tim Bowman; brother, Charles Bowman; sisters, Arlene Turner (Willis), Joyce Bowman, Evelyn Penn, Mary R. Bowman, and Dorothy Brooks; sister-in-law, Mary S. Bowman; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Laura Bowman; and brother, James Bowman.
