Dr. Clyde E. McKeand, 97, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on July 10, 2026. He was born December 8, 1928 in Kenova, West Virginia, to Herbert and Carrie McKeand. After graduating with a D.D.S. from The Ohio State University, he moved to Findlay, OH, where he practiced dentistry for 34 years before retiring to Pine Knoll Shores, NC. He is survived by his three sons, John D. McKeand (Elaine) of Destin, FL, James A. McKeand of Chapel Hill, NC, and William E. McKeand (Wendy) of Bryn Mawr, PA, and four grandchildren.
